So to anyone who's interested, I can't stress enough how important it is to do repetitions of the multiple choice questions when studying. I've found them to be the best indicator of how you'll perform on the test...and you will see VERY similar questions on the test (similar to what's been released and what's provided by most study guides).

Other than that...try making or buying flash cards. This worked especially well for me because I'm not able to devote huge blocks of time to studying while I'm at work, but I can usually spare 10 - 15 minutes here or there to run through a deck of flash cards.

I'm really not sure how much time I'm spending studying - there are so many mini-sessions (like the flash cards) that occur, I can't imagine keeping track. But what I do do, is repeat the multiple choice questions. Over, and over, and over again.

This week my plan is to study a solid 2 hours each night - viewing the lectures, doing multiple choice (and reviewing the correct answers), and running through sample simulations. I'll likely spend 6 - 8 hours on both Saturday and Sunday this upcoming weekend. Normally I'd only commit to about 4 - 6 hours on each weekend day, but I'll be housesitting for my aunt, and I anticipate a lot of extra down time. Plus, I totally wasted this entire past weekend (and was wasted unfortunately haha - as a sidenote, going to the Borgata casino with my girlfriends from high school was much more fun than studying...but now I feel uber-guilty), so I accomplished nothing productive. So, I'll play catch up next weekend.

Thanks for sharing the experiences. I can relate with the feeling that week-end becomes history and we are left with the incomplete study. I have lost Regulation by one point. Even though I passed it next time, I cannot forget that feeling. I also lost FAR by one point and will take the test this 31st.
