Getting back in the habit...or NOT...

Haven't started re-studying the Auditing material yet...oops! I'm not sure I've consciously accepted yet the fact that I will need to devote countless more hours to studying AGAIN. My excuse this time in procrastinating is enjoying the last of the summer weather. I'm sure next month my excuse will be enjoying the beginning of fall weather. I'm pretty sure I'm better at making up excuses for not studying than I am at studying itself. Actually, I know I am.

I'm shocked at how many people haven't received their scores yet - just wow. A shout out to my friend Seun, who's still been waiting anxiously since taking the exam on July 1st (FIRST day of the testng window)...I've got my fingers crossed for him - and the rest of you as well! I'm guessing the second wave of scores will come out around mid September?? And thanks to everyone's who's been posting too (or chatting with me on Facebook) - I love it. Keep the comments coming.

Totally random and un-CPA related, but if you're looking for some new good music, check out Low vs Diamond. They just released a self-titled album. I went to high school with two of the guys, Anthony and Jon...and they were just on Letterman and in Rolling Stone. Really cool. The funny thing is - they said they had to pick up a copy of the Rolling Stone issue at a newstand to see the picture and article. That's got to be a weird feeling.

Plans for this weekend? Much more low key than last weekend I hope (went down to the beach in Margate). If all goes as planned and I have some free time, I may go get a pedicure to relax :-) Who knows, maybe I'll even be so inspired by the R&R this weekend that I'll study! Hmmm...what a concept.

I am completely bankrupt on study motivation right now, too! I keep hoping to get my Auditing results back for a little inspiration, but I still haven't heard anything. Booo! I'm taking REG on 10/13, so I'm back to hardcore studying tonight after going on a two week hiatus for fun and travel. Not good! Becker Lecture #4 is being viewed tonight.

Yea, checking every couple of hours. Make sure you spend some time on those REG simulations, because that's where the "enemy" tries to *&# you up.
