It's almost Halloween...consequently, it's almost time to retake the exam!! I feel like I just got my (failing) score back in the mail yesterday. Sorry for being so cliche - but wow, I can't believe it's here. Talk about unprepared...
So I've been studying off and on, here and there for my retake of the Auditing exam...but as a whole, I haven't studied nearly as much as I intended to (or probably should for that matter). Every weeknight I come home ready to get on top of those multiple choice questions and every night something seems to come up to distract me...happy hours (networking), errands (shopping), late work meetings (it's been fun scheduling mtgs with Singapore and London), vet appointments for Burton (he got two baby teeth pulled! Ouch.), cleaning...OK, so maybe the cleaning was an obvious attempt at procrastination. Studying just hasn't fallen neatly anywhere in my daily routine.
Speaking of procrastination...check out the NJSCPA's Facebook page. But resist the temptation to linger or stalk your ex-es...we need to get back to studying! Facebook only if it's for CPA questions and motivation :-D
I'm dedicating 12 hours a day to studying on Saturday, Sunday and Monday...and hopefully I'll get in at least two hours a day Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. That adds up to about 42 hours left to study, I'm hoping so dearly that will suffice.
Here goes nothing...I'll let you know how things are looking before the big day and after my study-a-thon this weekend.
