New state forms collect data that might trigger NYC income tax (from @NYTimes)

The latest New York state tax forms include a line asking people who own homes in New York City how many days during the year they spent in the city. Any number close to 182, one-half of the year, stands a good chance of getting the filer taxed as a New York City resident.
