My second attempt at FAR is little more than 3 weeks away and I am really starting to feel the pressure! I have really been focusing on my weaknesses which are not-for-profit and governmental accounting. I am confident that I can tackle this part of the exam if I master these sections, especially since I missed by one point the last time around (yes, I'm still bitter about it).
It's been hard to study this past week because I am in Alabama for work. I enjoy the client I work on out here, but getting studying in after putting in extra hours at the office is rough. At least my first busy season taught me time management. On the bright side, I feel very lucky because I had the opportunity to attend a University of Alabama football game this past Saturday with my client and her family. It was so much fun! Especially for a girl who went to a small public college (read: no football team). The magnitude of tailgaters, band members, and school spirit is something you can only find in the SEC (you've been studying too hard if you're thinking of securities).
Cheers y'all,
Alyssa
