The scores are in, and I passed Audit! This being my second exam, I am now officially halfway to a CPA! Getting this score back has definitely boosted my motivation to keep going for the rest of the exam. And with REG scheduled for May 16th, I had to get right back to studying this weekend.
One big thing that has helped me stay on track is writing down and sticking to a physical study schedule. When I look at creating my study plan for each exam, I actually work backwards from my actual exam date. This way, I don't find myself cramming when it comes exam time. I have never been a good crammer, and I find that sticking to my old study habits has helped tremendously throughout this exam. Being able to adapt my review course to my study habits has been a great confidence booster, because I am able to feel in control of my schedule. It definitely helps calm my nerves on exam day knowing that I did everything in my power to prepare for whatever the exam could throw at me!
One thing I realized the other day while staring out my window at the beautiful spring sunshine is that these past few months have actually flown by! I remember gearing up to start studying in early January and thinking to myself, how on earth am I going to survive these next 6 months?! And now here I am, in month 5, and I'm still alive! These past few months might as well have been called FAR, AUD, and REG, because I feel like I have been measuring my time in CPA Exams, rather than by months! Although I am definitely ready to reclaim my social life, I know that I cannot do so until I have put these exams behind me once and for all!
