Work has begun!

Hello Everyone,

I am now an official full-time member of the working world! I started my job this Monday and so far I love it! This week and next week my small group of new hires and I will be participating in local and national training before we head out to our clients. This week I am also preparing for my REG exam that I am taking on Saturday. I sympathize with everyone who has been struggling and trying to study while working because it is definitely harder. I just want to eat dinner and go sleep after work!

Since Monday, I've had the opportunity to talk to a lot of people regarding their progress and tips on how they passed or how they are trying to pass the exam. My key take away from all of these converstions is that everyone is completely different. Please do NOT compare yourself to other people who have passed the exam first try or already have 3 or 4 parts completed. You WILL get there - whether it is now or twelve months from now. Once you have your CPA license, people will not ask you for your scores or how many times it took you pass. They will respect you for your dedication to your career. Be patient with yourself, work hard, and you will be rewarded!
